After a groundbreaking mission exploring Pluto and distant solar system objects, NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft went into hibernation. It’s finally woken up and is nearly 6 billion miles from Earth. If the mission lasts beyond 2029, the spacecraft’s current trajectory will likely take it into interstellar space.

Iceberg lettuce sold at some Taco Bell restaurants has been linked to the cyclosporiasis outbreak, a source familiar with the investigation said. Cases of the intestinal illness caused by a microscopic parasite are surging across the US. Taco Bell said it had taken “immediate action to voluntarily remove potentially impacted lettuce from a supplier in select states.” Read more.
